The Rose and Crown is situated on the edge of Marston Moretaine, on the road junction opposite the Lower Shelton turning on the A421.

The pub gained its name during the 20th century originally being an 'ale house. In 1936 the licensee was William James Campin.

The pub itself is a true drinking house and has facilities for playing darts and pool as well as showing live televised Sky football matches. The pub itself is owned by Charles Wells breweries.
